We are located in the historic village of Jeffersonville, Vermont, Gateway to Smuggler's Notch.

Greenview offers restored, historical cabins and homes with modern comforts and conveniences such as new furnishings and beddings, gas fireplaces, WiFi, Direct TV, private outdoor hot tubs, DVD players, full kitchens and modern baths. You will never forget, however, that you are in Vermont - we have left all the warmth and charm. When you arrive, you will find fresh hotel quality towels and linens in the baths and on the beds. Some guests have even said our beds are more comfortable than theirs at home!

Winter sports enthusiasts will enjoy the proximity to Smuggler's Notch Ski Resort, just a short 7 minute drive from our door. Long known as a premium ski and snowboard destination, Smugglers Notch has been consistently voted #1 for family destinations due to the reasonable prices, fantastic cabin, home, and condo rentals, exceptional ski and snowboard instruction programs, trout fly fishing and the variety of extracurricular activities for teens and kids. Greenview has the advantage of being a short walk to Jeffersonville's great restaurants, shops and bakeries as well. Our 8 wooded acres of hillside is a winter wonderland for our guests and offers a refuge from the busy day skiing on the mountain.

In spring and early summer trout fly fishing is all the rage and we are surrounded by clean, cool, waters teeming with 3 species of trout, walleye, northern pike and small mouth. Greenview offers full outfitting packages for fly fishing, ice fishing, boat trips, and spin casting trips. Experts, novices and those who are somewhere in between will be well taken care of with experienced, reputable and highly regarded fishing guides who know the local Vermont, New England, and Smuggler’s Notch area intimately. We only use the best, the most local and most fish obsessed guides. This means our spaces are limited so please book in advance. Peak fishing months are April, May, June, September and October. Ice fishing is extremely limited in availability due to the overlap with ski season.

Summer is a magical time in Vermont and New England area. The days are incredibly long, the nights are cool and there is so much to do it is overwhelming. the perfect spot for a romantic honeymoon. For us this is what makes Greenview the best! Local produce is abundant, the swimming hole across the road is buzzing with activity and everyone in Vermont is in a great mood. It's impossible to do everything! You can hike, bike, canoe, kayak, horseback, swim, go fishing, rock climb, cookout, visit the local farms, or just relax in our luxurious lodging - its overwhelming! You'll return home from Greenview exhausted and excited about next year's trip to New England.

Fall foliage is legendary in Jeffersonville and indeed, the area invariably ends up in several magazine articles every year about scenic autumn drive. In September and October we experience the competing passions of leaf peepers, trout fly fishermen and landscape artists all converging on Smuggler's Notch and Jeffersonville. You'll find this to be a wonderful, entertaining crowd to rub elbows, swap stories, and go fishing with. The weather is fantastic. The days are crisp blue with lots of wild game on the move this time of the year. Observant visitors will see moose, deer, wild turkey, foxes and water fowl while admiring the countryside.

Lastly, we advertise our side of the mountain as the quiet side of the mountain. Jeffersonville is not bursting with tourist traps, theme parks, chain restaurants and Walmarts. The greatest resource we have found yet are the friendly, talented, hardworking people who have stayed true the values that made Vermont independent and great.
